I went today with my wife and we had the greatest time. Great food, clean & calm atmosphere, and super kind people. We got to meet Irene herself - she’s such a great person!

I stopped by Irene's this morning for a bit of breakfast. It's a quiet morning I was seated right away. Breakfast started off well with a very good cup of coffee. I ordered my meal and it arrived quickly. Food started off well I was enjoying it until I found a long hair in my food. BREAKFAST was over. I brought it to my servers attention and told her I was finished. She apologize, but stated it happens. REALLY? What I found amazing let alone with the comment was my server brought me my bill with the full price for the meal.. I was shocked. Nonetheless I paid the tab, but I will never return. An amendment to my review. I was unaware my server actually gave me a discount on the meal, but I still will NOT return to this restaurant. Tim the manager was a bit condensing when I spoke with him. His attitude and the food are the reasons I will not return.

Their wet burrito was astounding. I got it with chorizo and bacon. Just the right amount of spice, next time I'll top it with the salsa they provided. It was a good way to start the day. Really filling. I ate outside to take advantage of the spring weather, while nosy it was cool and rather pleasant. Irene's is a staple for Tower District and best enjoyed with friends and family, though going solo is okay as well.

The food here is absolutely scrumptious and the service is without a doubt some of the best I've had in a very long time, not only is there a beautiful view of tower from the inside, you can also choose to sit outside and enjoy the festivities that happen throughout the area. The staff are amazing and very polite, I've been here twice already in the same week! I will 100% be coming back again.

I love Irene's! The staff is always friendly and attentive, even when super busy. The atmosphere is comfortable and casual, it's a great place to dine alone or with friends. The patio is perfect for people watching while enjoying the best Mimosas in Fresno. The portions are huge and the food is delicious! I love that the owners are there working and supporting their team. Supporting local businesses has never been more important, and this business is worth supporting!
